NEW DELHI: Early Friday, Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh was hit by an avalanche on the snow-covered Dhauladhar Hills.

Earlier this week, a landslide in Bilaspur district struck a private bus in Barthi village, about 100 km from capital city - Shimla , killing 18 people.
Since the monsoon began on June 20, nearly 470 people have lost their lives in rain-related incidents across Himachal Pradesh.
