Applicants must have passed Class 10 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board. The age criteria require candidates to be a minimum of 18 years old and not exceed 25 years as of the closing date of the application window.
Selection process for Constable (Tradesman) recruitment
Candidates will be shortlisted through a multi-stage selection process as outlined by BSF. The selection procedure includes the following stages:
BSF has warned that OMR-based exam answer sheets with incorrectly filled or incomplete mandatory fields such as name, roll number, category, or trade details will be rejected.
Application fee details
Candidates belonging to the UR, EWS, and OBC categories must pay an application fee of Rs 100, along with service charges of Rs 50 and 18% GST. The fee is to be paid through a Common Service Centre (CSC) using debit card, credit card, or net banking.
Exempted from fee payment are female applicants, candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, serving BSF personnel, and ex-servicemen.
