A Strictly Come Dancing star has revealed a nasty injury to their fans on social media. Dan Walker, who appeared on the BBC dance competition in 2021, revealed that his hand was bandaged after injuring himself with glass. He posted a pic of his updated hand on Instagram, adding the caption: "Had a fight with some broken glass last night and now I can't do up my trousers." He also added the word "Help!" to his picture. Many of his followers flooded the comments section with supportive messages in reaction to his injury. One concerned fan said: "Ouch hope it heals soon." A second also chimed in and said: "Oh dear, hope you're ok Dan," completed with a love heart emoji. A third also echoed: " Oh no. But sounding good on the radio and keeping our 10-week-old crazy cocker spaniel puppy calm-ish."
Dan danced with Nadiya Bychkova, and they were eliminated in Week 11. He finished in fifth place overall. He left BBC Breakfast to join Channel 5 in 2022 and recently got himself a slot as a radio host on Classic FM.

In recent Strictly news, Chris Robshaw was the third contestant to leave this year's series. The 39-year-old former rugby star and his dance partner, Nadiya, were eliminated from the BBC Latin and ballroom dance programme on Sunday, according to the results show.
They battled it out against EastEnders actress Balvinder Sopal, 46, and her professional partner Julian Caillon in the dance off.
Chris and Nadia performed their salsa again to María by Ricky Martin, which had earned them a total of 24 points from the judges.
Speaking about his experience, Chris told presenter Tess Daly: "I've loved it. I've had an amazing partner. For me, coming into this journey, I had no confidence. To be told I had world-class qualities on the dancefloor, even though we have to go home, that's amazing to hear, so thank you very much.
"It's given me such confidence. To my partner Nadiya, I'm sorry. But it's been an amazing journey, she's been a brilliant teacher, I've developed so much, and it's been a great ride."
Nadiya added: "Chris, I have had a few wonderful weeks with you and saw all the qualities that made you the captain of your country. To watch you go from a non-dancer and non-performer to blossom, improve and develop.
"On Friday night, when we were rehearsing, you told me that you couldn't wait to perform on Saturday, and that's the best confirmation that you have got that feeling and love for dance. That means the world. Sometimes on this show you win by getting a glitterball but I feel this year I won just getting you as my partner."
Strictly Come Dancing resumes on Saturday, 25 October on BBC One.
