Princess Eugenie brushes off mum Sarah Ferguson's scandal as she posts new photos

Princess Eugenie has continued to brush off her mum, Sarah Ferguson's latest scandal, by posting a new update about her charity work. Eugenie, 35, hosted an event to launch a new project with The Anti-Slavery Collective, a charity she co-founded in 2017 with her childhood friend Julia de Boinville in 2017.

The new campaign, which has focused on fake fashion, aims to educate people on the link between fake fashion and forced labour. In an Instagram post on Thursday, Eugenie said: "The Anti-Slavery Collective have been working on a project showing the connection between fake fashion and forced labour.

"I was very proud to host an event to coincide with UNGA and NYC Climate Week to launch this exciting new project, and shine a light on this underreported human rights scandal."

She continued: "The Anti-Slavery Collective launched a new short film and hosted a roundtable for fashion insiders, re-seller platforms, designers, brands, behavioural scientists, fashion press, and illicit trade experts.

"This is only the beginning and I can't wait to see this project unfold!"

Eugenie also shared new photographs from the event, including one of her speaking and another of her with her sister Princess Beatrice.

The princess has posted this update today despite the ongoing scandal this week surrounding her mum, Sarah Ferguson.

The Duchess of York, 65, has dominated royal headlines this week after it was revealed she had emailed the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein in 2011 after he was released from prison for child sex offences.

In the email, Sarah referred to Epstein as her "supreme friend" and apologised for disowning him in an interview.

A spokesperson for the duchess said she only sent the email as she feared Epstein was going to sue her for defamation.

Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice have not commented on the scandal surrounding their mother this week.
