Liverpool have splashed the cash on a host of new signings so far this summer, and their spending spree could continue in the final week of the transfer window. Arne Slot still feels that reshuffle is yet to be completed, with a handful of further additions in the pipeline.
The Reds have bolstered their frontline with the signings of Hugo Ekitike and Florian Wirtz, with Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez and Giovanni Leoni joining the club to inject some fresh legs into their backline. A host of stars have also left Anfield, including Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez and Trent Alexander Arnold - upon his contract expiry - and further sales are being considered.
Express Sport takes a look at five deals Liverpool could complete before the summer window slams shut...
Alexander Isak
The saga of the summer could conclude in the dying embers of the transfer window. With Newcastle working around the clock to bring in at least one forward, a second big-money bid for Isak would certainly test the resolve of the Magpies with the prospect of funding some marquee arrivals. If Isak refuses to be reintegrated back into the first-team, Newcastle have a tough decision to make.
Marc Guehi
With Liverpool's backline still appearing shaky, a concrete approach to Crystal Palace for Guehi will be heavily considered on Merseyside. The Eagles' captain is willing to play out the final year of his contract at Selhurst Park, but the prospect of a £40million player walking away on a free transfer will be a huge negative for Palace's deal sheet. With Ibrahima Konate considering his future, Liverpool may feel it's best to bring in centre-back competition sooner rather than later.
Malick Fofana
Lyon are actively looking to sell Fofana this summer to balance their books, and a cut-price deal for the winger is certainly an option which could be explored. Liverpool were linked with the 20-year-old earlier this summer, and their shortage of options out on the left could see prompt Slot to push for that pursuit to be amped up.
Kostas Tsimikas
With Kerkez arriving as first-choice left-back from AFC Bournemouth and Andrew Robertson a top-quality rotational option, Tsimikas' time on Merseyside looks set to be coming to an end. The Greek international has been the subject of interest from Roma and Nottingham Forest, and a permanent or loan exit beckons.
Harvey Elliott
With Liverpool bringing in a wealth of top attacking talent, Slot may have to make the difficult decision of selling Elliott. Similarly to last season, the playmaker looks set to struggle for minutes going forward and therefore this summer may be the ideal time to cash in on his services before his valuation decreases. RB Leipzig are particularly keen, and that move could accelerate if Xavi Simons completes his move to Chelsea.
