Khan Sir said, 'Given the war situation between India and Pakistan, I hid my marriage from everyone. My marriage was already fixed. Then Pakistan attacked India. My country comes first for me. That is why I got married secretly.' He said all these things in his class. Students also asked many questions about this. One of the questions was whether the marriage was an arranged marriage or love. How much dowry did you get? Khan Sir answered all the questions in his own style.

During the class, when a student jokingly asked Khan Sir, “Sir, is your marriage a love marriage or an arranged one?”, he replied smilingly, “Do you think I am a man who does love marriages? Do you think a man like me can ever do a love marriage?” His witty answer made it clear that Khan Sir had an arranged marriage. He himself told the class that this relationship was decided due to the efforts of his younger brothers and the wish of his mother.

Another student asked, “Sir, what did we get in dowry?” To this, Khan Sir replied that he got five things in dowry. An earthen pitcher for drinking water, an earthen pot, a wooden fan that can be operated by hand, a Quran Sharif and a prayer mat. He further said, “This has been the tradition since ancient times, and this is the reason why these things were given to me. Otherwise, no one dares to talk about dowry in front of us. We are strictly against dowry.”
