Bihar STET 2025 Registration Details

Bihar STET 2025 Registration: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has initiated the application process for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (Bihar STET 2025) starting from Thursday, September 11. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online on the official website once the link is activated. Applications will only be accepted through the official site.

Candidates who successfully pass this examination will receive a lifetime valid certificate, allowing them to directly participate in the upcoming BPSC TRE-4 recruitment scheduled for December 2025.

Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit

Candidates must have completed their graduation and possess a B.Ed. degree in the relevant subject. The age limit for male candidates is set between 21 and 37 years, while female candidates can be up to 40 years old. The STET exam is organized by the Bihar Board to determine eligibility for secondary and higher secondary government teaching positions within the state.

The Bihar STET 2025 exam will consist of 150 questions in total. Of these, 100 questions will focus on subject knowledge, while the remaining 50 will assess teaching skills and competencies. The exam duration is two and a half hours (2.5 hours) and will be divided into two parts: Paper-1 for secondary classes and Paper-2 for higher secondary classes.

Application Fee for Bihar STET 2025

BSTET 2025: Application Fee

The application fee for one paper is Rs 960 for General/BC/EWS candidates, while SC/ST/PH candidates need to pay Rs 760. For both papers, the fee is Rs 1440 for General/BC/EWS candidates and Rs 1140 for SC/ST/PH candidates. Payment must be made online via Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
