Tesco has issued an urgent recall for a popular ready meal over fears it could trigger allergic reactions.
The supermarket giant is urging customers not to eat its Stir Fry Tikka Chicken due to undeclared egg and mustard in the sauce sachet, which are not mentioned on the label. This poses a potential health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg or mustard.
Customers who have purchased the item and have an allergy to these ingredients are being advised not to consume it. Instead, they should return the pack to any Tesco store where they will be given a full refund. This follows a recent product recall by Lidl due to potential salmonella contamination.
