It is the film that has got everyone talking and singing along - and kids cannot get enough of it - KPop Demon Hunters. Since its release in late August, it has been watched onNetflixover 291million times. The animation has become the most watched Netflix film of all time as people have applauded the captivating and heartfelt storyline, fun characters and addictive music.
When they are not selling out stadiums, Korean pop superstars Rumi, Mira and Zoey use their secret identities as demon hunters to protect their fans from an ever-present supernatural threat. The Hendrix trio must face their biggest enemy yet - an irresistible rival boy band of demons in disguise.
While it may present itself as a film for kids, a number of adults have also been wowed by the exciting release - with some saying it is the "film of the year". Fans were also able to sing along in the cinema at a small number of screenings in August.
Recently,in a Reddit post, one individual confessed that they were sceptical but pleasantly surprised after watching the film. They said: "After months, I have finally watched KPop Demon hunters, because this sub Reddit made me believe the movie was for children. 10/10, best animated movie of the year."

Another sceptic shared: "I'm not very into K-Pop. I ended up watching it because my younger co-workers wouldn't stop talking about it. I'm not sorry I did! Watching a movie by yourself is always an option."
One other shared: "It's basically a Pixar movie but with K-Pop. It's not the worst way to spend 90 minutes."
"It's a great movie that just happens to be child friendly," added another.
One other shared their review after watching the film, and commented: "I watched it with my co-worker who loves K-Pop and already saw it and loved it. She sold it to me that it had animation similar to Into The Spider-Verse, which is a good selling.
"I absolutely adored the movie, it's a big ass fun movie with a lot of heart, the animation is of course on another level. I never expected to love it so much."

Another, applauding the music, said: "I did enjoy it a lot more than I thought I would and I watched it at my brother's place with a dope surround system the music was pretty good even though it wasn't really my thing."
While someone else shared: "It's going to be a guilty pleasure watch for me. The music goes hard and its easy to have on while building Lego."
And one of the film's hundreds of five-star Google reviews read: "I went into KPop Demon Hunters expecting a fun little animated flick and walked out feeling like I’d just watched one of the best things Netflix (and Sony Pictures Animation) has ever put out."
