I've been hearing for years about how air fryers are the ultimate kitchen essential, but after years in London house shares with limited counter space I hadn't had a chance to try one for myself. I was lucky enough to get my hands on the Cosori TurboTower.
Honestly? I get it now. I do imagine having two drawers would make a huge difference compared to one. There's even a way to make this one cook three things at once.
I recently had surgery which has made using both hands quite difficult so I roped in my cousin to help me set up this air fryer. I couldn't believe how easy it was. Once unboxed and cleaned there's a suggested 10 minute run to check it and we were off to the races.

There are so many products that are proudly air fryer safe so we had a look around Tesco and found parmentier potatoes and steaks that came with air fryer instructions.
We also picked up some stuffed mushrooms that didn't have instructions on - these did cook well in the air fryer but we definitely overestimated how long they would take and had to remove them halfway. I'd say having a quick Google is probably the best idea when trying out a new food.
It was really easy to use. The steak needed different settings and took less time than the vegetables, so we kept that in the top drawer and used the sync setting.
This meant that both drawers were finished cooking at the same time. We used 'air fryer' for both before realising that there was a grill section that would've been perfect for the meat.
There's even a baking option, the air fryer comes with a guide for which settings should be used for different things from chicken to cinnamon buns. It's so easy to use that the hardest part is clean up, and I believe you can put at least the trays in the dishwasher if not the whole baskets.
This is a game-changer in the kitchen, although I do appear to be one of the last people to catch onto this. I've heard the two-drawer style is a popular way to go with air fryers, it makes sense with the versatility.
Lakeland has the £89.99 Dual Basket Air Fryer with Easy View Windows. It's got a smaller capacity than the Cosori option and since the drawers aren't layered on top of each other it takes up much more counter space. Ninja has a tower-style air fryer with the £249.99 Ninja Double Stack XL 9.5L Air Fryer SL400UK.

It appears to be quite similar to Cosori's and allows layering in both drawers. I personally find the Cosori device has a sleeker design that I'd rather see in my kitchen. The Turbo Tower is currently reduced to £199.99 at Amazon.
