Brooklyn Beckham was brutally mocked by fans for his "terrible game" and "lack of talent" at a humiliating Ryder Cup celeb match. The eldest son of Victoria andDavid Beckhamplayed in the match on Wednesday (24 September).
The wannabe photographer turned wannabe chef competed in the golf tournament for the Europe team alongside former basketball player Toni Kukoč. The played against the USA's Eli Manning and Colin Jost in the first round of celebrity playoffs.
Brooklyn is reported to have struggled from the get-go. The 26-year-old repeatedly hit the ball out of bounds and kept getting stuck in the bunkers. Some fans who attended the match were disgruntled and were heard mocking his "lack of talent", while others questioned why he was there, with many only describing him as "David Beckham's son".
"Beckham was not in a good mood the entire game," an insider told the Daily Mail. "He had his head down whenever he walked by fans who were shouting for either Eli or Colin. It was obvious that he had very few fans of his own.
"At one point, he walked far away from the crowd behind the rope, as though he didn't want to deal with the rowdy USA team fans." They added that the only support Brooklyn received was from his caddy, who would "pat him on the back and was telling him it was okay".

Following the game, Brooklyn told the press that he had a good time, even if it felt like fans didn't like him. "I feel like they didn't like me at all, but it was amazing. They gave me a bit of rubbish but I kind of expected it."
He explained that he knew competing against Eli Manning, a former New York Giants quarterback, whilst in New York was never going to go down well with the crowd. "Being in New York, going against Eli... they were just laughing. But it is what it is, I was having fun out there. I did the best I could. It was honestly just really fun."
"There's always going to be people saying negative things," Brooklyn added after hearing comments about him and his family. "But I have a very supportive wife. Me and her, we just do our thing, we just keep our heads down and work. And we're happy."

Brooklyn's wife, Nicola Peltz-Beckham, stayed in Los Angeles while he went to New York for the game. The couple renewed their vows recently in front of Nicola's family, but the Beckhams were noticeably absent. This came amid an feud reportedly ongoing between Brooklyn and his family.
Rumours about the feud have been circling for months and only intensified when Brooklyn snubbed his father's 50th birthday and brother Romeo's 23rd. This month, Brooklyn seemed to expand his disregard to extended family as well, as he ignored cousin Finlay's 21st.
