A Nagpur-Ahmedabad IndiGo flight returned soon after taking off from the Nagpur airport on Tuesday morning with the airline stating that the pilots took the decision as a precaution after noticing a technical issue.
"A technical issue was detected on IndiGo flight 6E-7246 operating from Nagpur to Ahmedabad on 7 October, 2025. As a precautionary step, the pilots decided to turn back and the aircraft landed safely at Nagpur airport," the IndiGo spokesperson said in a statement in the evening.
The aircraft was undergoing necessary checks and the flyers were accommodated in subsequent flights or given full refund upon cancellation, the statement added.
