Several months after Tamil actor Ravi Mohan revealed his separation from wife Aarti Ravi, the actor was recently seen attending a wedding ceremony with singer and spiritual healer Kenishaa Francis, widely speculated to be his current partner. Rumors of their relationship had already surfaced around the time Ravi made his separation public, although Kenishaa had firmly denied any romantic involvement.
Now, Aarti has finally broken her silence, revealing the harsh emotional and financial consequences of her crumbling marriage, including an imminent threat of being evicted from her home and being left as the sole caregiver for their children.
In a deeply emotional note shared on Instagram this Friday, Aarti wrote, “For a year, I wore my silence like a shield—not because I lacked strength, but because my children needed peace more than I needed validation.”
She went on to say, “I endured every finger pointed at me, every rumor whispered behind my back. I stayed quiet—not for lack of truth, but because I didn’t want my sons to be torn between two parents. While the outside world sees polished photos and staged smiles, our reality is far from that illusion. The legal process of our divorce continues. But the man I once supported for 18 years with unwavering loyalty and love has not just left me—he’s walked away from the very duties he vowed to uphold.”
Aarti revealed that for several months now, she has been the only pillar holding up her household. “Every bedtime story, every home-cooked meal, every silent cry in the night—it’s all been me. There has been no sign of emotional or financial support from the man who once called our children his greatest joy. Now, we are being forced out of our home—evicted on instructions from the same person who helped build that home. And I am labeled a gold digger. If that had ever been my motive, I would have secured myself long ago. But I chose love over logic, faith over fortune. And this is where it led me.”
She ended by asserting she does not regret loving him, but she refuses to let that love be mistaken for weakness. “Our sons, aged 10 and 14, deserve certainty—not confusion. They can’t understand legal jargon yet, but they feel the sting of abandonment. Every ignored call, missed visit, and cold message meant for me—but seen by them—are not minor oversights. They’re emotional scars.”
Her statement drew an outpouring of support online. Actor-politician Khushbu Sundar, standing in solidarity, reposted an article titled “A Mother’s Truth” and commented, “The truth of a mother will stand as a testimony for days to come.”
Ravi and Aarti married in 2009, and while Ravi announced their separation in September last year, Aarti says she was “blindsided” by the move.
