The SSC CHSL Exam 2025 will begin on November 12th, with 6.80 lakh candidates appearing at 59 centers in UP and Bihar. The exam will be conducted in three shifts until November 30th.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has completed preparations for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Exam 2025. The exam will begin on November 12th, 2025, and continue until November 30th, 2025. A total of 6,80,490 candidates will appear at 59 exam centers in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, affiliated to the SSC Central Region Prayagraj. This time, 38 centers have been set up in Uttar Pradesh and 21 in Bihar. The exam will be conducted in three shifts: 10 am to 11 am, 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and 5 pm to 6 pm.

The exam will be held in these districts of UP.

Examination centers have been set up in Agra, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Prayagraj, and Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. 40,369 candidates will appear at four examination centers in Prayagraj, 59,988 at six centers in Lucknow, and 56,518 at seven centers in Varanasi.

46,703 candidates will appear at five centers in Gorakhpur, 44,842 at three centers in Meerut, 35,324 at three centers in Agra, 28,347 at three centers in Bareilly, 46,837 at two centers in Kanpur, and 24,470 at two centers in Jhansi.

Patna has the highest number of centers in Bihar

Examination centers have been set up in Bhagalpur, Gaya, and Patna. Patna has the highest number of centers, with 15 centers, where 181,261 candidates will appear. Additionally, 44,271 candidates will try their luck at three centers in Muzaffarpur, 37,372 in Bhagalpur, and 34,188 at three centers in Gaya.

According to the Commission, more than 30.73 lakh candidates have applied this time. This means that an average of 981 candidates will compete for each post. Candidates appearing for the exam are expected to carefully read the instructions provided in the admit card and arrive at the examination center on time.
